On his “HBO Real Time” show Friday night Bill Maher joked that Obama just have used Maher’s $1 million donation to an Obama super PAC and “spent it all on weed.”

“He looked tired. He had trouble getting his answers out. It looked like he took my million and spent it all on weed,” Maher said.

In February 2012 Bill Maher said that he had donated $1 million to Priorities Action USA, a pro-Obama super PAC.

Bill Maher is well-known to comedy audiences as a stand-up comic who has been performing for several years, but he is also an outspoken advocate for a number of liberal views on political issues he's a strong supporter of Obama.

But seriously, ‘tired’ wasn’t the look I saw. President Obama looked more like uncomfortable, if not scared. President Obama was probably trying to carefully limit the number of times he’d blame Bush for the last four disastrous years and the 16 trillion dollar debt. Luckily, Romney spent surprisingly little time & effort attacking Obama’s over his dismal term as President, and more time explaining how he’d govern the next four. If anyone ‘pulled their punches’ last night, it was Romney.

Pundits seem upset that Obama didn’t slam Romney over the 47% remark, or Bain Capital, but I think even Obama’s camp realizes that slinging the same mud eventually just makes Obama look like a jerk with no real plan.
